Ford Taurus (2012-2021)

I’ve been commuting from Dammam to Al Khobar daily in my 2022 Ford Taurus, and it’s been a very reliable companion. The 2.0L turbo engine is smooth and has enough pull for the highways while staying quite fuel efficient. The cabin feels roomy and the seats provide excellent comfort even during long drives. What I enjoy most is the dual-zone climate control, it keeps everyone happy, especially with the KSA heat. The design looks classy, and many people mistake it for a luxury sedan. Honestly, it’s a car that balances practicality and comfort nicely. It may not shout for attention like a sports car, but for family and daily use, the Taurus feels like a safe and solid choice.

Ford has made rapid progress with the Taurus Hybrid which has got major development in EV efforts for the Middle East auto market. The Taurus offers a combination of efficiency and performance. The full-hybrid powertrain integrates a proven 1.5L engine with an electric motor. The 185 hp of power is smooth and also drives great. Ford has designed the Taurus for optimal fuel mileage along with a hybrid system where the electric motor kicks in at low speeds and helps the engine. The Taurus has a smooth ride and comfortable seats for daily driving and road trips. Fuel economy is incredible for long road trips, making it a bargain for road trips. I have been driving the Taurus for over three months now, and every single driver is fun and exciting for me and the family. This is my first Ford branded car ever, and I bought it out of impulse buying, but it is good after my research I’m convinced about the Taurus. This is proved correct after three months of ownership. It has got the 2L ecoboost engine, gives me nice power and torque, good for everyday city commute and also not bad on the highway. The cabin is great, the rear seat has a lot of room, and we all just love driving it around.

There aren’t many sedans that I like when it comes to stopping Ford, honestly they are good in SUVs and Picks, however, the Taurus is once an exception. This sedan is quite the standout in its segment for its executive look, nice road presence and the big size. Beyond the look, the Taurus is also nice to drive, both city and highways as the 283hp engine is well tuned and refined. The inside of the Sedan is equally good and offers that premium feel with high quality materials.

Ford has introduced the newly facelift Taurus 2025 in Saudi Arabia with quite interesting updates in this luxury sedan. The exterior design certainly is a lot better now, with aggressive cues, the new headlights and also the more attractive front grille. Ford Taurus now also comes with a new hybrid .15L engine with electric motor apart from the regular 2.5L Ecoboost and 3.5L V6 options now available, and the proven 10-speed automatic is standard. A 13.2 inch touchscreen, wireless charging, Smartphone, digital cluster and a very spacious cabin which is premium.

In terms of technology, best engine and impressing the hell out of anyone is all new Ford Taurus of 2024. I mean the exquisite looks, fabulous front grille with utmost charming design of Taurus is something to which I fall madly in love with. I have bought the Ford Taurus, there was almost 2 weeks waiting period for test drive and delivery takes place almost after 6weeks, so yes, quite along waiting period. The engine is so well designed and the pickup is simply great, and I really loved the bare minimum interior especially over the dashboard, I became more inclined towards it.

however, I’m a big fan of Japanese cars, and not my best option in the market. But with one of my friends owning this car, and with a long drive and some city use with him, my impression of this executive Sedan has become quite positive. After all, American cars are not that bad either, but not at par with what the Japanese offer you in the overall ownership experience. Yet, I found the Taurus well-handling car with a focus on design, comfort, and safety.

There are few things which I personally liked about Ford Taurus and those are the eye-pleasing or awe-stunning fins movement on the grille (which to be sure I had no seen anywhere or over any car ever). Secondly, I loved the handle bar feature which open only after pressing and when the car is shut down it goes back inside the space (I feel like I can play with Taurus all day). Third, there is ample amount of space so it is safe to say that its Ford did quite an interesting job with Taraus but too expensive for me.
